freedom from worry
|
Hugs from Heaven Ah, finally a relaxing day off. We were at our campsite and decided to treat ourselves with a trip to the store for ice cream. At the bottom of the hill, I noticed the massive garbage truck just backing out of the campsite and groaned. "What?" my husband asked and I remembered that I left the open bag of garbage sitting on the floor of the camper. With our two golden retrievers basking in the breezes of the air conditioned camper while we were gone, I was afraid they might also decide on a tasty snack from the bag with its tempting smells of leftover dinner from last night. We slowly drove back up the hill and my husband stopped in front of the camper. As I was getting out of the car, I heard him groan. May God bless these words as I strive to edify and encourage others in their walk with Christ. Married 21 years, I have a teenage son, and two wonderful golden retriever/collie dogs.
